At Idea Workshop, I spearheaded the social media and digital marketing initiatives for our client Flat Iron Building Group, a leading construction and design-build firm in the commercial real estate industry, based in the Greater Toronto Area.
My Role
My role was central to executing a comprehensive social media strategy that not only enhanced the brand's online presence but also included detailed coverage of key events. This strategy was tailored to showcase Flat Iron Building Group’s projects, their dedicated team, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and partnerships, with a special focus on LinkedIn for B2B engagement and Instagram for the design community.
My multifaceted responsibilities encompassed overall social media management, digital marketing support, and the production of a newsletter named "Ironed Out." In addition to content creation, copywriting, and managing social media accounts, I actively engaged in event coverage, capturing and sharing moments that highlight the brand’s dynamic presence in the industry. My role also extended to video production, contributing significantly to projects such as the examples embedded below.
Through strategic storytelling and engagement, I supported the leadership team and ensure our developed content resonated with target audiences. The proactive management and strategic content dissemination, including event highlights, led to a notable growth of over 25% for the LinkedIn account in 2023, underlining the positive impact and reception from partners and stakeholders.
